At Oiwakeya Ryokan, guests enjoy public indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and traditional multi-course meals. Massages and facial treatments can be requested for an extra cost and guests can use free Wi-Fi in the public areas. JR Matsumoto Train Station is a 20-minute bus ride away.

Guests sleep on tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. A cable TV, a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags are included. Each room comes with a private toilet but bathrooms are shared.

A traditional garden and karaoke rooms are available for guests to enjoy. Guests can sit by the Irori hearth or use the free-use internet computers. Free coffee is served in the morning.

A Japanese breakfast and dinner are served at the dining room.

Ryokan Oiwakeya is a 10-minute drive from Matsumoto Castle and a 30-minute drive from Misuzu Lake. Matsumoto Folkcraft Museum is a 10-minute walk away.
