The hotel was built in 1971 by Giuseppe e Margherita returned at home from their emigration in the United States. In the last ten years she has undergone a series of renovations that have made it a welcoming and equipped with every comfort.

Family-run Hotel Margherita offers views of the Amalfi Coast, and features a panoramic sun terrace with hydromassage pool. All rooms have a balcony, overlooking the sea or the garden. Parking is free.

All rooms come with an LCD TV with over 200 Sky and international channels, a minibar, and free Wi-Fi. The décor is classic, with traditional furniture and majolica tiles. The private bathroom has natural toiletries.

The buffet breakfast includes organic ingredients, fresh fruit, Italian pastries, and omelettes and bacon made to order. The on-site restaurant serves regional specialities, and offers a selection of over 100 Italian wines.

The hotel offers a free shuttle to Praiano Beach and the city centre. A public bus for Positano departs hourly from a bus stop nearby.
