The small town of Cascade has always been a quiet gem, tucked in the Idaho mountains. When the Boise Cascade Lumber mill closed down, the tiny town lost it's main industry & jobs. Ashley Thompson loved the beauty that surrounds Cascade and wanted others to be able to enjoy what the residents enjoyed, but they had no special place to stay. He wanted something a place where it was comfortable and elegant, inviting for couples as well as families. With so much available for recreation, he found that Family Reunions are very popular in the summer. Ashley and his wife have owned Water's Edge RV Resort on the Payette River since 1992. Maybe that's why he has provided his Ashley Inn guests with the use of his canoes and kayaks on the calm water of the Payette River. It is located just around the corner, walking distance from the Inn.

A 10-minutes' walk from Lake Cascade State Park, this Cascade, Hotel NoBo Cascade, Tapestry Collection by Hilton features an indoor heated pool with hot tub and elegant, individually decorated rooms with fireplaces and bay windows.
