Tara Niwas opened about fifteen years back. The owners also own Arya Niwas, which is a big property with more than 100 rooms. Arya Niwas had started as a 20 room property and the feel of a home with personalised services. As Arya Niwas, grew, the owner family missed the sheer pleasure of a small personalised homestay kind of operation where we knew each guest. So was born Tara Niwas. Tara Niwas is centrally located, very close to railway station and bus stand, in a nice upmarket and green neighbourhood and easy to approach from the walled city and markets of Jaipur.
Tara Niwas has 25 rooms, all are air conditioned and all have facilities similar to a three star hotel. The main appeal however of Tara Niwas lies in its personalised service, cleanliness, home like food (vegetarian plus eggs only), a LOVELY garden with lots of bonsai landscapes, rabbit wren, birds, fishponds and lots of plants! It is a great lace to return to after a long hard days' woprth of work or sightseeing. It is great to see rabbits jumping around in the lawn or to b emet by our very inquisitive guinea pig! Squirrels scamper around, birds converge on the many feeding stations for them. Welcome to our home!
