The Seahorse Inn Hotel is a Heritage listed facility. This building was originally built by Benjamin Boyd in the 1800's as a land based property developer. The building was the beginning of his failed venture to make Boydtown the capital of Australia. Boyd also built Boyd's tower, a signal tower for his whaling enterprises. After renovating the building, the Seahorse Inn has become a 4 1/2 star boutique hotel. It features 10 rooms, 6 of which overlook the beautiful Twofold Bay. The other 4 rooms face west and have garden views.The Seahorse Inn has a bar and two restaurants - one a la carte and the other a Brasserie. The surrounding grounds have access to a large camping ground - suitable for summertime campers. The pristine white sandy beachfront is only 100 metres from the front door and has a gentle swell, ideal for wading. We are close to the township of Eden on the far south cast of NSW and are halfway between Sydney and Melbourne. The nearest airport is 45 minutes away. So come join us for your luxurious getaway.

The Lyon Den Bar offers a selection of ice cold beverages, specialty cocktails, barista made tea/coffees, delicious afternoon house-made snacks & The Restaurant offers fresh locally sourced seafood & produce, with bay view dining inside or dining outside under the awning, for lunch & dinner all year round. (Bookings recommending during the holiday periods)

The cocktail lounge features hand-carved doors, stained-glass windows & comfortable lounges to enjoy a hot or cold beverage, with views of Twofold Bay & Eden Harbour.

Hotel rooms all feature modern ensuites, reverse cycle air-conditioning, tea/coffee making facilities, smart tv’s & Wi-Fi. The garden King rooms offer either loft style views or ground level balcony views. While the two bedroom family suites offer ocean balcony views. The deluxe ocean suites offer an additional lounge area, kitchenette with twin shower & free standing bath en-suite, are perfect for that romantic night away. (Hotel rooms are not pet friendly).
