Opened in 2004 , was the first Patagonian Boutique hotel concept destination . Its construction has been designed to provide warmth as to allow our guests to connect with the environment without isolating it. La Cantera is a designer lodge set high in the scenic El Calafate. Guests can enjoy a boat trip, 4x4 excursion, or guided hiking tour. They can also relax with a glass of wine and watch the sunset from the cosy lounge, with floor to ceiling windows.

Rooms at Hotel La Cantera are comfortable, with mountain lodge décor and free Wi-Fi. All are equipped with a cable TV and DVD player and have private balconies. Some have a hydromassage tub.

The restaurant and bar at La Cantera Boutique serves fine cuisine with a creative twist, while the bar offers fine South American wines. A breakfast buffet with seasonal fruits and croissants is served daily.
