Built on steep terrain, all suites have an uninterrupted sea-view from the rooftop balcony. No soil levelling, nor rocks or large trees were removed as we seek to preserve the natural state of the land. No heavy machinery was used and the place was mostly constructed by hand.

The crew who constructed Alunan now serve you at the resort. They might not speak your language perfectly but the they are full of heart. Therefore, we seek your kind patience with them, as we strive to make your stay a pleasant one. If you have any special requests, do not hesitate to ask!

The beach area in front our the resort, has had its fair share of comments from guests as being too rocky and unsuitable for swimming. We do provide booties for feet protection.

However, what is special about the area is that it is a fish breeding ground, and is actually a healthy ecosystem. Almost every night the area comes alive as juvenile black-tip sharks swim close to shore to feed on the fish fry. Be sure to ask one of our crew to provide you with a flashlight to witness this fascinating event.
