The location is great for traveling north and south of the town. The view from the terrace is lovely! We arrived at night and it was a special surprise in the morning.
The kitchen is very tiny and we were unable to reheat leftovers due to the lack of a microwave and our inability to use the oven. We were very thankful for the washing machine and clothes dried quickly on the rack on the terrace.

Acitrezza is a very beautiful village and is special due to the famous rocks called Faraglioni. Is a perfect location for visiting the eastern part of Sicily, There are nice restaurants, with good fish, pasta and pizza and of course very good ice-cream. You can have a nice walk on the promenade near the see and walk to Acicastello to see the Norman Castle. There are lots of places to take a bath from the rocks but also some platforms built over the see, with sunbeds and stairs to get into the water. From the harbor you can have boat trips.

This was our 6th visit but the first not in summer.
This was our 6th visit but the first not in summer. We were surprised by how quiet it was but the weather was glorious, the people very welcoming and it was a lovely relaxing break for us. Not a place for those who need a lot of attractions, unless you have a car and want to drive to different places every day.

Good starting point for exploring Etna and Taormina.
Good starting point for exploring Etna and Taormina. Otherwise other parts of Sicily are better, at least for families.
Lots of garbage in the roadside which sometimes spoils a good scenery, but probably the same all over Sicily.

Acitrezza is a gorgeous ocean bay city/view in a mostly mountainous region, with the hotels and houses, on the hills; most locations require a car or cab to get around, because the streets are smaller/more narrow, and wind a bit. It is also 15 minute drive to Catania. Beautiful city, with much to see; a lot of interesting history. Just walking down the main sidewalks, there are many attractions from Catania, on arrival. A little difficult to get around, however, walking will get you to many of the places, where cars are not allowed. Many busy market places, with any small items you may have forgotten in packing, available at any small stand. People are friendly, and helpful. Lovely city.
The host was very helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate my late check-in and make sure I had everything I needed. The room is beautiful and very comfortable. The room is large and spacious and has a nice patio attached. There is also a kitchen with an oven, stove, and refrigerator. There is also a kitchen with an oven, stove, and refrigerator. The spa tub is HUGE and works well, it's so relaxing! Everything was perfect. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Catania.
I can recommend it to everyone who is not just looking for "overnight accommodation", but even something more with value added. I appreciate very personal and kind access from the host Santo, who thanks to huge traveler's experiences all around the world knows what the guests need the most.
Cleanness with daily cleaning.
Perfect rich home-made breakfast (local things from salty to sweet foods, fruit, ...).
Great location very close to Catania 👍
Personnel extremenly polite
Restaurant food extraordinary good at great price for the customers, diverse dishes every night
Cleaning every day, 3 towels per person each day
Close enough to bus station that goes to center of Catania
Great breakfast: from home made tarts, pies, cakes, omelette, local cheese and prosciutto, muffins, biscuits, marmelades, local pistachio, lemon and other spreads, toast maker, fresh juices, coffee machine
- great terrace with sea view
- in a well kept green area
- aircon in all rooms (a must also in September)
- windows with blinds
- within walking distance (15 min) to Acitrezza center (beautiful small town)
- a bus connection to Catania is possible, but a car is recommended (there is free parking at the property)
- good restaurants nearby
- good kitchen utilities
- nice host with free wine and water bottle on arrival
Rooms were well taken care of and very clean.
The sea view is really there and actually very close to the sea (you can see the Ciclopi). There is a big terrace shared with all the rooms and available to have breakfast.
The host is a very nice guy and makes good cappuccinos.
Recommended stay if you want to visit Catania, Etna or even if you go there for the sea and beaches.
We really enjoyed our stay in Sicilia's Art Hotel. Such a great atmosphere, cosiness and elegance. We really appreciated the friendly and professional approach and thanks to Raffaele our stay was unforgettable.
Very nice and comfortable room with the sea view, great breakfast, amazing spa experience! Can't recommend it enough if you want to stay in Acitrezza or near Etna.
Cesare is an exceptional host. Serves breakfast, checks on comfort, keeps room clean, and is readily available for help. He arranged ride back to airport as well. The room was large, had an updated bath, and cleanest place ever. Better room than major hotels. It is near center of small town, easy walking, and great experiences.
The apartment is very spacious with everything you need inside. It is at a good distance from Taormina, Etna sud, Siracuzza, Catania. You can reach the seaside in 7 minutes ( riviera dei ciclopi area). The view from the balcony is amazing ( seaside view and Etna mountain).
The hotel is very nice and clean. The room was with the sea view however extra pay for that when booking the room. The breakfast had variety of items, also the coffee was very tasty. The room was cleaned properly and on time. We liked the stay pretty much.
Very good quality, comfortable, amazing beds, kind staff.
A good stay was very hard to find in Catania, it seems everything is either old or bad reviewed, the Ciclope resort was our choice after checking many places, and it was the best decision.
Very nice, clean and convenient appartement close to the center. The owner is really friendly and helpful, also knowledgeable about the sites nearby. The location is also great to explore Catania, Mount Etna, Taormina etc.
I really liked the room, the bathroom and the fact that the reception is always opened even if you arrive really late.
The hotel is really close to the sea... Two steps from the sea
