Staff: We were greeted by the best staffs of the hotel: Kudos to Ms. Jennifer and her team, she arranged everything from our tours to Ha Long Bay and Sa Pa she made it all possible. Also kudos to the personnel (we forgot to ask his name but he was always smiling, the tall one). Ms. Jennifer also arranged our Motorcycle rent with gasoline thus, we were able to visit all the tourist attractions in Ha Noi within a day. Best service ever!
Room: It’s big, we had a king size bedwith ample size for our luggages, our shopping items (so many) the bathroom was also large with tub. Everyday change of towels, toiletries, and bottled water. Room service is also good!
Facilities: The property has a front desk, dining hall (where the breakfast also is served, buffet with the freshest fruits! I love fruits) and one elevator. No swimming pool.
Location: Location is near a convenience store (circle k), near most of the restaurants and cafes, near the night market and tourist attractions. We shopped both in Trang Tien and the Hanoi Old Quarter.
Now I get why this hotel has a high rating here in booking and agoda.

Ice cold AC, super comfortable beds, clean bathroom and quiet room- did not hear any street traffic. The staff we're very hospitable and even helped with our Grab to the airport to make sure we got into the right car and to help with our luggage. In a nicer part of the Old Quarter that is very conveniently located. We are not big breakfast eaters but the buffet spread and omlette station was top notch for starting the day off.

Hanoi is a huge city with a billion scooters. You can hear constant noise and hustle. There is definitely too little greenery. People are very money-oriented. There are cockroaches everywhere and stray dogs. There is plenty to see, but two weeks is definitely too much for this city. Buses don't always run according to schedules. It's hard to find a taxi during the rain.

Beautiful & cultural, walked around the majority of places, tried the open top bus tour, the night market was fun, food & drink was enjoyable. We found majority places very reasonable.
We didn't realise how busy the place was with mopeds.

Hanoi was a great place to visit for the city itself but also for the excursions you can do from there.. The excursion companies are very well organized and knowledgeable.
The downside was the complete lack of discipline with traffic. It was wild and you always had to be extra careful crossing roads.
There were numerous shops for tourists with handmade crafts and silk wear. The prices were very cheap if you compare to elsewhere in the world. But Vietnamese vendors are not that keen on haggling prices.

I specifically went to Hanoi on the advice of a close friend who raved about the food and cafe culture. I was also interested in remnants of French colonialism, and Hanoi is far better than Saigon, which was part of another "Vietnam".
The buildings are weathered and charming. Entrances to many businesses are down dark narrow corridors that open up onto interior courtyards. There is a mix of French and Chinese styles which I found authentic and beautiful.
Hanoi is very very noisy and dirty. Motorbikes swarm, beep, and buzz like hornets. They do not stop for you and the way to cross the street is at a slow pace with eye contact and a prayer.
The open-air markets are totally medieval with open butchering of meat and stacks of produce and flowers. There are no prices. Street food vendors use hoses to "wash" the dishes which empty into the gutter. If you want to know what life was like in ancient Rome or Tudor England, your questions will be answered.
Hanoi is how the world operates outside the G20 countries, which is to say, most of the world. And remember...it's technically a communist country.

Hanoi, Vietnam's capital, is a bustling city known for its cozy sidewalk cafes where you can chill out. The lake with a temple in the middle is a special spot believed to have positive vibes. People say prayers here, and sometimes they get answered fast—I know mine did!
In Hanoi, there's a lot to enjoy, like exploring cool cafes, checking out the lively night market, taking leisurely walks by the lake, and relaxing at outdoor beer joints. Plus, if you're a veggie, there are quite a few food options for you (eggs are considered vegetarian here).
Coffee lovers, get ready to taste different kinds of coffee, and tea lovers, you'll find some amazing tea here too.
Shopping isn't the big draw here, and places like Train Street can be too crowded. Taxis are cheap and convenient, but walking around the colorful markets is a fun way to soak in the local scene.
If you're into activities, you can go boating, hiking, or cruising around. But if you just want to chill, soak up the local vibes, and experience the culture, Hanoi is perfect for that too.
Sitting around the lakes, parks, outside shops, and colorful, peaceful markets sounds like a great way to soak in the city's atmosphere. And enjoying coffee and food while doing so. Even better! Don't forget to add sitting on rooftops and in temples to your list—it's a fantastic way to experience Hanoi's unique ambiance. Walking around the city and taking it all in sounds like the perfect way to spend your time there.

Hanoi is a vibrant blend of old and new, where bustling streets lead to tranquil lakes and ancient temples. Whether you're slurping down delicious street food or exploring historical landmarks like Hoan Kiem Lake and the Temple of Literature, there's always something exciting to discover. The city's charm lies in its lively atmosphere, rich culture, and warm hospitality. Hanoi is more than just a destination; it's an unforgettable experience that leaves you craving more.
This hotel is conveniently located in the middle of Hanoi Old Quarter. Right downstairs there is a famous goose pho shop, and 3 min walk away there is one of the best Banh mi shops. Staff were also very helpful. They called taxis for us, helped us translate food orders, and even told us where to go for a good rate on currency exchange (even though they do currency exchange themselves!) If I could subtract half a point for cleanliness, I would, but, come on, you’re in the middle of the old quarter,...Overall great hotel for a great price
The hotel is set in the old quarter and is conveniently situated for visits to this and the French quarter. The breakfast was very good. The whole hotel is exceptionally clean and most of the staff are more than attentive ..reception staff are so helpful as are the bell boys .. my taxi to the airport was late as it had been given the wrong address by the dispatcher.. this was nothing to do with the hotel but about 4 staff helped me and resolved the situation.. they were truly exceptional and kind ..it’s a great base for exploring Hanoi.
Very good hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. The staff were wonderful and dedicated and very helpful.they picked us up from the airport and we really appreciated about their kind hospitality. Our room was great clean and very bright and quiet . The breakfast was cery highly recommeded too with many fresh fruits and chlices cook to order. The hotel location is the best very closed to Hoan Kiem lake and many restaurants which is very convenient. We will return here soon for our next visit and will recommend for all of my friends.
Great relaxing stay right on the center of the old quarter.
We had a great stay at Hanoi Royal Palace Hotel, the room is quite spacious with a big window city view. After few hotel we stayed in the old quarter, honestly one of the best location we have ever had. They do daily room cleaning which was very nice.
Staff are incredibly helpful and attentive. Mr Max, Mr Jim are always welcome with good attitude and nice smile. Really appreciate and enjoyed our stay would recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Hanoi.
We had a wonderful stay with this La Sinfonía in Hanoi. The class of the hotel impacts as soon as you enter the foyer, you just say to yourself...Yes! The hotel and especially our room is spotless. It is perfectly placed in between the old quarter and the French quarter. The best of both worlds. Our Concierge (Rose) is such a beautiful human. Her recommendations for eating and sightseeing were superb. They were places that are not obvious to foreigners so seek them out from her. We are indebted to her.
Great place to stay in Hanoi's old quarter which seems to has been renovated just recently.. Room was nice and spacious incl all amenities. Staff was very kind and caring and they'd go above and beyond for customers satisfaction. One could see that COVID hit the Vietnamese tourism industry hard and now there's big competition. Anyway, can recommend the hotel unconditionally and wish them and their staff the best of luck. PS: Breakfast is a plus (Continental and Asian breakfast)
We had a great stay. Hotel is Very clean and so elegant.
The hotel lobby is a work of art and so cozy .
The staff was very helpful. They was particularly attentive giving us great recommendations and making us feel very welcome.
They have very nice skybar and beautiful view of Hanoi !
The location of the Amira Hotel is great, near many things that we wanted to see in old quarter. Very efficient and clean. Best bed i ever slept in.
Highly recommend. Would stay here again.
This hotel is located just south of Hanoi's famous Old Quarter - in walking distance of it. We were upgraded to a huge room with 2 bedrooms, a sitting room, and a large bathroom. The room was quiet, cool, and had comfortable beds. The staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good, with great variety and a chef to make egg selections. The elevator doors are painted with Vietnamese scenes and each floor has cool artwork.
The location is the best aspect of this hotel, and for that price, is just excellent. Right in the heart of the old quarter, just a block away from the lake and some of the best food spots in Hanoi. Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly, wanting to go above and beyond for us to have a great experience. They are as lovely as they come. The room is comfortable enough for a sleep and take a shower, so the price was fine.
We stayed for 3 nights during our trip in Hanoi and I would say this is one of the best properties to stay at old quarter. The staff was very friendly and even arranged the room early for us as we arrived early. The hotel is nearby to almost all places in the old quarter. The breakfast spread was nice and staff delivered everything we asked for. Would love to stay here again!!!
Hanoi victor Metropolis hotel & rooftop bar is top wonderful hotel in Hanoi old quarter, we did to stayed in Vietnam. Our room was nice - clean and great bathtub and very quiet. The most beautiful fact about this sweet and cozy hotel is definitely their lovely and so welcoming staff. The kindest people I have met during my whole stay in Vietnam. The rooms are nice and comfortable, the location is perfect to explore Hanoi‘s Old Quarter. I would definitely come here again.
Thank you, Yen & Jessica, for making my last days in Vietnam so great.
Best experience of three months Vietnam. The hosts are incredible friendly. The room was great and much more cozy and comfortable than the standard vietnam hotel room. The area is calm, everything you need is around the house and it's only a short walk to Hanoi Old Quarter.
Washing the laundry with the machine was no problem. Really nice lobby with kitchen and seats.
Great location in the old quarter of Hanoi. The rooms were extremely clean, spacious and light. The staff could not have been more polite or made us feel more welcome. They were the best thing about the hotel. Breakfast was also very nice, a good variety of options from traditional Vietnamese food to western options as well as fresh fruit.
The property was amazing! In the heart of Hanoi old quarter! Facilities were amazing, and the staff were exceptional! The owner Dan, was a great man very welcoming and you can tell that he has his hotel under great control! Best place in Hanoi! We will be back
Kind regards, Suraj
Well positioned between the Old Quarter and the French Quarter making most tourist destinations walkable, once you learn how to cross the street in Hanoi!!! Excellent value of money. We would suggest a high floor, as in any hotel in Hanoi due to traffic noise.
The hotel is super cute and the position is excellent in the center of the old quarter.
Vy, the girl who work at the reception and who followed us in our stay, is super kind, helped us a lot with organization and gave us advice to visit Hanoi in the best way.
Wow best hotel stay in whole of Vietnam, can’t fault anything the staff the room the breakfast the location all perfect, highly Recommend staying here if in Hanoi. It’s in within walking distance of lots of food places and about 15 min to the old quarter.
