The market is big enough with a lot of exotic stuff
There's also the farmer market
Maybe a little far from Napa or Sonoma but the place it's worthwhile a visit

Old Faithful was fun to see.
Old Faithful was fun to see. We also went to the Petrified Forest, which was amazing to see those trees. We had Thai food in town. Do a couples mud bath/massage at Doc Wilkinsons. Been in business for 70 years. And not to miss is Buster's BBQ. His hot sauce will literally bring tears to your eyes, in a good way. Cole slaw and potato salad were excellent too. We got beef ribs and tri tips. Super yummy.

We have been vacationing in Calistoga for over 30 years.
We have been vacationing in Calistoga for over 30 years. We have seen a lot of changes good and not so good ( prices at our favorite Spa doubled ) but none have kept us away. We found a few hotels with mineral water pools that are reasonably priced. It's a wonderful town, the people that live and work here are friendly and helpful. We have always felt safe in Calistoga. We always go to Soo Yuan Restaurant at least once a stay. We miss the mexican restaurant that was next to Cal Mart. Most of the time we get take home food from Cal Mart, it's always great . We nearly always walk to town, but if not, we have never had trouble finding parking - there are plenty of public parking lots and public restrooms.

Calistoga is a beautiful town with many hotels that have mineral water pools. Very easy to get around. Best restaurant in town is at The Calistoga Inn. I would avoid The Mount View Inn as it needs a lot of repair/remodeling (and I do like older historic buildings).
There are a lot of interesting shops, hiking, biking, etc.

Beautiful.
Beautiful. Our hotel was in walking distance of everything we needed and wanted. Amazing spa treatments. Delicious wine and food. Quaint shops great atmosphere, friendly people. Everything was spectacular.
great hospitality. The owner was so nice and accommodating. I was in town for a friends wedding and we found this perfect spot to stay. it was close to the venue and great value. It definitely was more than your hotel experience, you had your own kitchen and additional bedroom. The owner even made us homemade banana bread and muffins and left it in the kitchen for us. also got a nice surprise bottle of bubbly and fruits in the refrigerator. It was a great experience and highly recommended play to stay. Thank you Trailside Inn!
Very conveniently located close to Lincoln, the main street of Calistoga. Restaurants, coffee shops and other attractions within easy walking distance. However, the property is right on Highway 29 and our room was at the front of the property next to the highway. Thus, there was a lot of traffic noise. There are other rooms which might have been less noisy. The garden area was surprisingly large and many areas for semi-private enjoyment away from the traffic side of the property.
The location, the hospitality, the pool and hot tub, the jacuzzi in the room, the complimentary breakfast. It was the best stay I've done at a hotel/inn in a while. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. They even allowed us to leave our car parked in the premises for few hours after we checked out, till we explored the town and got back. I think this would be the best place to stay in Calistoga.
Dusdee, at the Front Desk was attentive and accommodating. Based on availability, he upgraded me upon checkin which I was pleased with. The facilities including the room, pool and spa were clean. The bed was comfortable and I was impressed with the lighting in the room. I was pleased with the warm mineral pool and mineral hot tub. Walking distance to the center of Calistoga, which is small and quaint.
The area is very quiet for a tourist town. The hotel is kept very clean, bed was super comfy and hotel staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good and we were grateful for that especially since most hotels ended onsite breakfasts. Downtown was a short walk away with alot of restaurants and shops to choose from, and the weather was beautiful! Numerous wineries in the area too.
This small hotel is located for 2 mins driving/ 10 mins walking from Calistoga's "center". Rooms are modern, clean, super spacious. Bed is huge and very comfortable! Outdoor thermal bath, jakuzzi and saunas can be used till late evening which was perfect for relaxing after an active day.
The Bergson is a beautiful place to stay. The lobby has a lot of old world charm. Our queen room was small but still lovely. There was a gas fireplace which added great ambience. The bathroom was separate to the vanity which was nice. We would stay here again.
Very nice and cozy hotel. Friendly staff. Nice restaurant on premises with beautiful outdoor area. They have some activoities included that made our stay more fun. Complimentary 2 hours of bike rental. Would definitely recommend and come back !
thé reception snd owner were absolutely wonderful ! so helpful and very pleasant . Fantastic gardens . very comfortable bed with lovely bedding. very clean snd perfect central place in town . the pools were brilliant and spa fantastic !
Great environment, beautiful location and interior decor. Kept warm, very spacious. Homey and quaint. Even in downpour rain, it felt at home. Parking is close and covered. The treats and food and gifted wine were a welcome plus
!
Conviently located in the quaint town of Calistoga, this art-deco themed hotel has lovely outdoor spaces, including pool and hot tub. My room was small but well-appointed. Staff was very helpful. I wish I could have stayed longer.
So crisp and clean. Close enough to walk into town. Spacious rooms with comfy bed, crisp sheets and nice towels. The breakfast was complimentary and bountiful. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The property mainly used mineral water for its pools, showers and in room spas. Complimentary bike rentals are a plus and it’s a a great walk to the Main Street and other restaurants:properties.
