Mesaria is a very small 'crossroads' town with the main road being very busy with traffic especially large trucks.
There are some lovely local restaurants which serve good food at reasonable prices and two supermarkets. A good bakery sells miniature ice-creams that are very welcome in the heat and there is a small souvenir shop.

We loved the Galini restaurant and left their business card in the apartment. It is only 5 minutes by car and we went there 4 times, each time great food, huge portions, fast service, soft Greek music and next to a pretty pebble beach. Mostly Greek customers it seems though English menu available. All the seafood dishes are heavenly ! Mixed grill of seafood for two is amazing value. See 2 pictures of Galini.

The town was in a fairly rural area and seemed to be inhabited by locals more than tourists which was exactly what we wanted for our trip. All the shops you could need are within a short walk (although be prepared to walk up and down some steep inclines).
I strongly recommend finding Vothonaki Café/Meze/Bar, very friendly staff with very good English (And very happy to hear you attempting Greek) and can help recommend tours and activities and such. Some of the best food we had all week.

For a first visit to Santorini i feel I should have chosen Fira to be close to everything. The bus to our accomodation drops us about 10 min walk from the house and it is quite a walk.... If you rent a quad that won t be an issue though.

The room is really spacious and has the luxurious feel to it. The bathroom has a lot of space as well to put your towels, clothes and every piece of bathing equipments you usually need to bring. The staff is really helpful and will do extra to make their guests happy. The close proximity to the airport and the free shuttle service will make this a perfect accommodation if you're looking for a place to stay near the airport.

I'm very satisfied with this room.
I'm very satisfied with this room. Everything is very nice and clean. The landlord was very friendly and helped us a lot! Very recommended here! I really like it! I hope we'll come back next time.
Good location, near great restaurants, supermarket and bus stop which had buses to different directions including - Bus to airport (10 min away)
- Bus to Fira - one of the beautiful places where you can see the the sunset (15 min away)
- Bus to Kamari beach (10 min away)
- Bus to Perissa beach (15 min away)
The hotel was 3 min away from the bus stop.
Great staff who helped us with everything we asked for and were available 24/7 for our questions :).
We are super happy about our stay and would go back there if we are in Santorini.
My boyfriend and I stayed there for two weeks and we absolutely loved it! The room was great, the pool was big and never too crowded and the staff were the nicest (thank you especially to Vasili for being so cool!) They helped us with taxis and car rental and even gave us food recommandations. Room was spacious, quiet and the pool view was nice. Breakfast was delicious every single day!
The location is very central to Santorini in my opinion so you can go anywhere on the island in about 20 minutes which was really appreciated.
We had the best time at Radiant Santorini. The rooms are beautifully and lovingly decorated and very special as they are cave rooms. The room was very clean and hygienic. Our absolute highlight was the private jacuzzi. The owner Evi as well as Giannis were super nice and helpful at all times. Breakfast was served in the room / on the private terrace and includes everything that belongs to a breakfast.
We can highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you Evi and Giannis for an unforgettable stay. We will be back again!
Firsty, hotel was very clean, breakfast were met our expectations. Personnel always helpful and cheerful. Also, Dimitris who has responsible of the hotel was very kind and helpful person. He guided us about the santorini’s beatiful places. I definetly recommend this hotel to the couples who likes tranquility and slience. I also recommend any couple who will go Santorini rent a car. Because it makes life easier at santorini.
The staff were very accomodating and friendly. We enjoyed that the breakfast was brough to outside our room to enjoy in the mornings. The swimming pool area was relaxing and calm and set back from the main road, whereas a lot of other hotels in Santorini appeared very overlooked, although they may have had better views they had a lot of people walking past them and were considerably more expensive than Hotel Arlene.
Amazing cave house. We were so comfortable and loved it. Beds were so comfortable Netflix was a bonus and air con, fans and washing machine made it perfect. Very quiet neighbourhood dotted with beautiful Santorini churches and buildings. Was nice to hear locals cooking and chatting. Lots of very cute cats.
Akis and Tina were amazing hosts and very helpful with all the info we needed.
Beautiful house, very clean and comfortable, has three terraces, the main one with jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. A 5 minute walk there is a bus stop and a mini market. The owner Kate is fantastic, always available and sunny, will make you feel at home. If we return to Santorini we will not hesitate to return to Thiramor
The staff was so helpful, sweet, patient. They arranged one of the best dinners of my life on the same day we requested it! The hotel itself was spacious & clean. There was food/drink always available at the bar. The pool is calm and relaxing. The room and bathroom were big & we had a little terrace. Highly recommend!!!
The view from the appartment is stunning, sunset or sunrise, you name it. We had a great time in Santorini thanks to the convinient location. Just few steps from a supermarket, bakery, pizzeria and a barber shop :)
The place even have plastic plates for the kids and a washing mashine.
Experience of staying at Apeiron Blue Santorini was beyond my expectations. The entire staff has been quite helpful and courteous. Above all they have Customer Relationship Manager available and constantly in touch with guests and always seeking feedback and working our improvements.
Unforgettable Santorini escape!, The staff is friendly and they were nice enough to give me an room upgrade, it was amazing, the private tub is incredible and the breakfast is awesome with a lot of options. Highly recommend! Planning my next stay already!
I felt relaxed soon as we walked inside. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly. The food was better than most places we ate at in Santorini. Facilities were amazing we didn’t want to leave.
Clean and modern. Very helpful staff. We had only one day in Santorini and Michael was very helpful with tips and advice about the island.
Covid rules were followed in the hotel.
Amazing stay!
The location is good. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and you can go to Perissa beach from there (no need to go to Fira and change lines).
