The bathroom was fine with a good shower. The room overall was okay but much too hot, the radiators were off but it had two hot pipes running through it. We had to have the window wide open day & night to try & cool it down. The room faced the main road & two busy pubs so it was quite noisy until the early hours with music & chatter!

We stayed at Deverill Inn B&B for five nights and used it as our base of operations for touring Avebury, Stonehenge, Winchester, Bath, Stourhead, Lacock, and Salisbury. This worked perfectly for us. Our hosts were helpful, respectful of our needs, and informative. Our room was confortable and well-kept. The garden is immaculate - a labor of love; framing the lower edge of a fantastic view across farmland, plain, and hill. I ended every evening on the patio on the swing sipping a single malt, watching the changing shades and hues cast by the setting sun. And the English breakfasts were highlighted by homemade jams and compotes.

We visit this hotel annually when we go to Longleat which is very close. We love the character. This year we had a family room which gave us masses of space. Free parking. Wetherspoons breakfast downstairs, 2 bottles water, chocolate as well as tea and coffee in room. Love the secondary double glazing which doubles as fridge for water and juice. Very quiet on top floor.

Could be a very pretty town but a little run down at present time. Also from roadworks a the main junction in the town. Several places to go and eat within walking distance and good choice supermarkets.

The staff we all really friendly and did their upmost to accommodate us. The rooms were spotless, spacious and homely. The breakfast was included in the cost of the room and it was beautiful, there was lots of variety and the food was all very high quality. The very old house does have a nice ancient charme. The stuff is nice and helpful, the breakfast was wonderful and the restaurant serves good meals at the end of a tiring vacation day. We very lucky: the chamber was huge. The location is calm.
