The location in the little village was perfect for food or drinks at night, the breakfast room of the hotel was made available to you to enjoy your evening take away too! ( but not in the room) Good showers , relaxing atmosphere.
Lovely breakfast too! Well informative with the history and very up to date with the local area with the 'what's going on' and laundry service if you should request, perfect!

Highly recommended. Friendly welcome, exceptional quality throughout, perfect location for our requirements and the breakfast was spot on. The small stairs presented a challenge for my size 13 feet but that's part of the charm of the place.

Lovely and responsive hosts.
Nice little tour when we arrived.
Breakfast was well made and they asked when you wanted plus there was option of cereal and other meals.
The hot tub and the blue tooth which meant listening to nice music as well.
The environment was very picturesque.

This house is up above the main village which is a short walk away. What a relaxing place to be. My room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the house beautifully decorated for the holidays. The hosts were very accommodating to my special needs. The made-to-order breakfast was exceptional. Careful on the small lanes getting up to the house. There is parking on site. For dinner, I walked 5 minutes or so to the main village where I had my choice of fine restaurants.

Beautiful, incredibly preserved small market town. The weather didn't allow us to explore close surroundingds as we wished. The town itself has got plenty of pubs, cafes, gift shops, art shops. The parking was not good steep narrow road I think once inside the property there was 44 steps or stairs some very steep and narrow, wouldn’t recommend to guests with any type of mobility issues. Lounge furniture needs replacing very old and uncomfortable lounge smelt musty. One of the bedrooms very damp with mushroom type mould Growing on wall and carpet. Bathrooms very nice modern plenty of them. Everything you needed supplied in the kitchen. Beds very comfortable lovely bedding. A well maintained property, with delightful hosts. Breakfasts very good. Lovely gardens and views of the countryside/hills. Room facilities good, comfy & cosy. I plan to stay here again when next visiting the area. I have no hesitation in recommending it to others. Good base for lots of things. great walking area. I used it as a base for a golfing break as it's in the centre of a triangle of some great links golf courses incl St David's [Harlech], Aberdovey, and Porthmadog, And the spectacular Welshpool GC with amazing views over 5 counties! Beautiful thriving little market town with lots of unique shops, as well as a few staples, and a big Spar. The restuarant that we went to (Y Sospan) was amazing. You don't need a car to get around town, and if you bring your bikes or walking gear, the estuary and mountains are yours for the views and swimming.

It was so handy for so many fabulous walks and stunning scenery. It’s not a part of Wales that we know well but found the area to be outstandingly beautiful. The accommodation was so comfortable cosy and warm really well put together. It was a real find. Absolutely perfect. The hosts Richard and his Nan were fantastic and so knowledgeable about the area. We want to come back again when we can.

The staff of the hotel are really excellent, offering a much nicer experience than a standard corporate hotel chain. We felt really looked after, without being overwhelmed by too much service. Breakfast was really good and the breakfast/dining area is lovely. The same is true of the sitting room - we had a couple of nights finishing off a bottle of wine by the fire, which was magical. Dinner was great for a special occasion. I would love to come back.
