The house was from the very beginning an inn for peasant muleteers. A place where the muleteers used to take a break after exhausting walking with theirs mules, unload their products, feed their animals, and then they went on their route along towns and places of the Peruvian Andes. A colonial house, which was remodeled for 4 years to become into what is called the Tambo del Arriero Hotel Boutique.

This charming colonial boutique hotel is located in the Nueva Alta neighbourhood, just 5 blocks from the main square of Cusco. It offers spacious rooms and free WiFi.

The rooms are decorated with a warm mix of wood which creates a cosy atmosphere. They are equipped with LCD TV, an iPod Docking Station, heating and a work desk. Some rooms feature a jacuzzi and a private garden.
