We loved the availability of good restaurants and a large supermarket not far from the town centre. We enjoyed the history of the area (Roman and Art) and the natural features of the surrounding areas of Provence.

We only stayed for 4 nights, it was not enough, wish it could have been a couple of weeks. The area is beautiful and tranquil, felt so relaxed there, yet there is also so much to do. Although only a short stay we took a boat trip in the Carmague (from St Marie sur Mer) stopped at Arles to see the Coliseum, visited Pont Gard, walked on the bridge at Avignon, followed the Van Gogh trail and explored Glanum. On our way back to Nice we stopped at Aix. Good food and wine was always close by and the people we met most friendly. Would love to return one day.

St.Remy is the kind of town that you fall in love with.
St.Remy is the kind of town that you fall in love with. There are so many restaurants to choose from and all of them are really good. The people of St.Remy are friendly and helpful and for the shoppers there is something different for everyone in the beautiful little streets of St.Remy.
The walk-about tour of Vincent van Gogh is lovely to experience.

St Remy is a gorgeous village in Provence, with lots of little lanes to get lost in and plenty of lovely shops and restaurants to visit and keep you entertained. A must on a visit is the free walking tour of the sights that inspired van Gogh which finishes at Saint-Paul Asylum - where he self-admitted himself. It is also a great place from which to explore the surrounding countryside and villages

Market day was fabulous, and restaurants though a couple of restaurants wouldnt allow us to share meals, being older people our appetities are smaller and while if they were full could understand but when restaurant not even half full felt that was being a bit precious. Otherwise people friendly and helpful, our hotel "Melody" were very helpful and welcoming. Loved the small viiages up in the hills we visited
People driving though should be more considerate and stop tail gating please.

We loved St. Remy.
We loved St. Remy. The Wednesday market was our favorite of all the markets we visited in Provence. We enjoyed visiting the asylum Van Gogh lived for a year, we drove to Les Baux, which was an easy drive and distance, and we enjoyed the restaurants.

Hotel staff and proprietors were kind, thoughtful, and caring. They adjusted our room to accommodate my disability. Very clean rooms and surrounding public spaces well cared for and looked recently updated with fresh paint and flooring. King size bed was a good size for my 6’6” husband. Excellent location - an easy 8-10 minute walk to the town centre and 20 minutes to the Glanum ruins and the hospital that Vincent Van Gogh lived in the last year of his life. Secure parking was worry free.
The Auberge St. Remy was a fabulous place to stay. It was perfectly located in the heart of St. Remy. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were all welcome and friendly. The outside terrace was particularly lovely. Our dinner at Restaurant Étoilé Fany Rey was the highlight of our trip to France. It was truly a special meal, and the attention and care for detail for quality of food, presentation and even the serving ware was evident in every exquisite bite..
Wonderful grounds. We were in a small courtyard surrounded by small privacy bushes adjacent to the pool. Flowers were great. The best part is that you are literally across the street from the asylum where Vincent stayed for a year. Just a few more paces is the Roman ruins archeological site for which the Hotel takes its name. The world renown town of St. Remy is just about 10 to 15 minutes north by foot. The rooms were well appointed and bathrooms very sufficient.
The hotel's lobby, bar and inner courtyard are styled in a black, white and green color scheme, with Anduze pots, ivy and other plants offering a touch of nature and a soft contrast to the black and white stripes. It gives the hotel an air of elegance. The front desk staff and bartender were courteous, respectful and helpful. I was glad to get a parking spot in their private, gated parking lot, but it is several blocks away. The price of my room was very reasonable.
The hotel is in an excellent location, a few minutes walking distance to the middle of town. The exterior of the hotel is very pretty and there is a nice outside dining area where we ate breakfast when the sun was shining. The breakfast was great, we thought it was a bit expensive (€14 pp) but there was so much food and a great variety so definitely good value for money. The pool was cold but refreshing. The hosts were very friendly.
Olivier was an excellent host. The breakfast generous and excellent with a wide variety of savory and sweet offerings including Olivier's own orange preserves. The setting and art gallery was wonderful you can enjoy the gallery areas as a sitting room when the gallery is closed. The hotel is quiet and best location in St. Remy!
The hotel is as beautiful as shown in the pictures and the room is spacious with nice amenities. The swimming pool is quite large and in a nice setting. Quality of the breakfast is excellent. The staff are very friendly, helpful. The seafood restaurant they recommended was one of the best meals we had in France.
This was my favorite stay on my two week trip to southern France. The pool was refreshing after a day of hiking. Breakfast was excellent with eggs, cheese, homemade yogurt, and wonderful French pastries and bread. The room was super clean and nicely furnished. The bathroom was clean and big.
I really believe this is one of the best hotels in the South of France. I come to this place for quite some time and the place is magical. The staff is friendly and competent and the food is simply divine. The pool is placed in an immense garden and there is a service for drinks
It is near the town center n close to all the attractions. The staff is attentive and provided clear instructions to assess the hotel as well as to call us to verify when we are arriving. The rooms are clean and very comfortable.
A beautifully renovated estate just outside st. remy. Breakfast and dinner were amazing, the rooms were classic and comfortable. The team running the hotel were extremely friendly, very helpful and pleasant to talk to.
Laurence, massieve credits to her, made sure we felt comfortabel and weren’t missing anything.
Every year we visit Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. This is by far (location, clean, ..) the best one we’ve stayed in.
Perfectly located next to St Remy city center, Le Petit Hotel offers nice rooms, wonderful breakfast options and great outside facilities with a very nice pool in a natural and quiet environment.
A wonderful stay at a fantastic hotel. The pool area was gorgeous, and the whole experience was just so relaxing. The staff were very kind. I would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful home near St. Remy and hiking trails. Spacious, clean, decorated well and close to neighboring villages. Alice, the host was pleasant, communicative and helpful.
Location was wonderful, and we were able to park in one of the hotel's own parking spaces which was a great help. Breakfast excellent. The room was delightful.
