Cagnes-sur- Mer is a thriving hub about 4 miles from Nice with train and bus connections to all the surrounding resorts and hill towns in the area. There are plenty of shops for food, a market and lots of restaurants. a free shuttle bus is available to take you to the hill village of Haut Cagnes, well worth a visit and there is also a free bus to the beach although lots of the local buses serve the beach too as well as it having its own station Cros de Cagnes. A ten minute walk brings you to the station.

We loved this apartment and our stay in Cagnes-sur-Mer.
We loved this apartment and our stay in Cagnes-sur-Mer. Fabienne is so kind and helpful.
A minus is the noise from traffic and the airplanes, when the windows are open. The apartment is quiet when they are closed.
Walking in C-s-M is easy and the beaches are very easy to reach, though the markets are pretty far away and you have to take a bus there. The buses are always awful crowded.

This village, although fairly developed, was quiet and less expensive to eat and drink out than Nice, Cannes and other locations nearby. However, prices are high generally on the French Riviera.
There is a market once a week that was very nice, with a fair amount of local produce, and the atmosphere was great.
We found all the bars and restaurants well apointed, and provided a good choice.
There are many buses passing through the village, but again information on how to use the various routes was hard to find. Travel cards can be bought locally for €10 which give 10 single rides on the buses or trams - which is a must! One ride for any distance.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed. Its prime location by the sea and convenient for those traveling by car made it an ideal choice. What truly stood out was their exceptional service and attention to detail. Not only did they accommodate my needs during my stay, but they also went above and beyond by promptly sending me the belongings I had forgotten in my room. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and commitment to customer satisfaction.
The hotel was a real surprise! The entrance is along a side street, not very easy to find and doesn't look like much - but once inside..... wow! the rooms we had were really big, comfortable and clean and the sea view was just perfect. Unfortunately didn't get a chance to eat in the restaurant but it looked amazing and we were away too early for breakfast but again, it looked great. Hotel is just over the road from the beach and there is paid parking close by.
Lucked out with this small hotel by booking the very last room since all other hotels around Nice airport had been booked solid. Was pleasantly surprised, since I didn't know Cagnes-sur-mer at all. Tons of restaurants around, and not far from the airport via taxi. Friendly staff. Room is suprisingly quiet due to double-glazing of patio doors and also double-bedroom doors. AC was most welcome since it was hot during my stay. To me, this hotel was a nice discovery!
A beautiful little Gem on top of a hill.
Virginie and Laurie so helpful. And tiny "Sweetie" the Chihuahua who thought she was a very big dog! Many nice local people and other animals around the Square. Jimmy's restaurant across was very good and reasonably priced for South of France. Fabulous setting and bedroom elegant. Great Aircon. Little FREE shuttle down into town every 15minutes.
The location is very good, which is just a couple of minutes walk to the nearest beach and several good food places. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned every day, while we were out for lunch which I think is very good. We also really enjoyed the rooms balcony, which had a table with chairs where we could spend the evening.
The general style and feel of the hotel is very comfortable. Furthermore, the staff is exceptionally friendly. They recommend really good places around town. The pool is also a really nice addition and the breakfast is quite good.
Charming hotel, good value for money. It is a two star hotel and you cannot expect the same standards as an upscale hotel. Close to beach and restaurants. nice service and very clean. Nice owners and cleaning ladies.
It was very cheap for a one night stay in a basic hotel. The room was clean and simple. It was also quiet in the room, even though it was on one of the main busy streets. Good value for the money!
Excellent apartment, nice surroundings, efficient and friendly staff overall. Not fully central but quite well located (a few minutes to walk to the waterfront or to shops, restaurants, etc.)
Excellent! Very clean, quiet, cozy appartment. Made with love to details. Best location near A8, between Nice and Antibes. Free parking lot nearby. Friendly host Jean-Marie! Best choice.
Very quiet cute little hotel very close to the sea walk in Cagnes sur Mer . Excellent location and very nice welcoming from the lady, a pity the owner is not at all client oriented
Fantastic, family-run hotel. Friendly. Immaculately clean, spacious rooms, with lots of light and very comfortable beds. Great breakfast in a nice interior patio. Highly recommend.
